Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Paraplex, a legal research product. By using it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the product.
The service
Paraplex is an AI-powered legal research tool. It is offered for information and research only. Coverage is limited to the courts shown in the product and may not include every judgment or the latest developments.
Not legal advice
Nothing in Paraplex is legal advice, and it is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified lawyer. It does not predict case outcomes, and it is not approved or certified by any court.
AI limitations and your responsibility to verify
AI output can be incomplete or wrong. We give no guarantee of accuracy or completeness. Always check citations and excerpts against the original judgment before you rely on them or file anything.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in details confidential and tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
Acceptable use
When using Paraplex you agree to:
- follow all applicable laws;
- not attempt to hack, disrupt or overload the service, or distribute malware;
- not scrape data or otherwise use the service in an unauthorised way; and
- deal with us and other users professionally.
Intellectual property
Paraplex keeps all rights in the product, including its software and datasets. You may not copy or redistribute them except as the product allows.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us a licence to use it to provide the service to you. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
Disclaimer and limit of liability
Paraplex is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Paraplex is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the product, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for it.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may update the product or these terms, or end the service, and we will post changes on this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in India, or by arbitration if both sides agree.
